Evidence before opinion.
CRISP is a structured review of a public SaaS marketing page. It helps you identify design decisions to investigate and adapt.
What we assess
- Contextual
- How clearly the page explains its audience, value and next step.
- Responsive
- Visible layout at desktop and mobile viewport sizes. This is not an exhaustive device or accessibility test.
- Intelligent
- How the public page explains and guides the journey toward the product.
- Seamless
- How clearly workflow and integration claims are communicated. Integrations are not exercised.
- Powerful
- How convincingly product capabilities are demonstrated on the page. Performance and scale are not independently verified.
How a score is calculated
Each dimension receives Pass (1 point), Partial (0.5), or Fail (0). The total is rounded to a whole number on the existing 1 to 5 scale, with a minimum of 1. Read the individual findings alongside the score: the rounded total loses detail.
Evidence and uncertainty
New visual assessments use page text and screenshots at 1440 × 900 and 390 × 844. They are AI-generated observations, not proof of conversion performance or a hands-on product test. Historical entries without recorded provenance are labelled accordingly. An assessment date is not a human-review certification.
When we cannot assess a page
A blocked, failed or incomplete capture is rejected. It does not earn a failing design score. Existing scores are preserved when a new assessment fails; editors can retry the capture later.
Use the findings thoughtfully
Compare sites serving similar audiences and goals. Treat advertised metrics as the site's claims. Validate a borrowed pattern with your own audience before assuming it will improve results.
